WHERE AND WHAT IS UNITY AJIJIC and NAMASTE VILLAGE?
Unity Ajijic is organized and governed entirely separately from Namaste Village. Unity Ajijic uses meeting space at Namaste Village, courtesy of its owner, James Twyman.
Unity Ajijic is located within Namaste Village, a walled community of 41+ living units located in the center of Ajijic, Mexico. James Twyman privately owns and operates Namaste Village as a spiritual community. Unity Ajijic was conceived in 2021 by Rev. Johannys Jiménez-Hartog and her husband, Jack Hartog (originally named Unity Namaste of Ajijic), with the assistance and support of James Twyman and Rev. David McArthur.

Unity Ajijic & Namaste Village
Unity Namaste of Ajijic, now Unity Ajijic, was conceived in 2021 by Rev. Johannys Jiménez-Hartog and her husband, Jack Hartog, with the assistance and support of James Twyman and Rev. David McArthur. In the summer of 2024, we officially changed the name to Unity Ajijic, and merged its sister ministry in Spanish, Unity Para Todos, combining the two organizations organizationally.
Namaste Village, which hosts all the activities of Unity Ajijic, is a spiritual community of 41+ residences that is totally separate and independent from our ministry. James Twyman privately owns Namaste Village; he graciously and generously not only allows our ministry to use his Session Area on Sundays and for classes, workshops and special events during the week, but also supplies a free room in which our monthly Minister in Residence lives.
